Custom Modulation Pedals
Whether you are looking to re-create a classic effect, build a modified clone, or create an entirely new monster, we are here to help you make it a reality.
Flanger
Introduce some harmonically pleasing, sweeping peaks and notches into your tone with a flanger pedal. Choose to adjust only basic parameters such as rate and depth for simplicity, or take flanging a step further with our specialty controls such as the manual or feedback knobs to really dial in the swoosh.
Phaser
Manipulation in relationships is typically to be avoided, but we don’t recommend it in phase relationships. Take full control of the phase cancellation phenomenon with a custom phaser pedal, equipped with a variety of basic and specialty controls of your choosing. Reproduce classic phaser tones ranging from a slow sweeping effect suitable for introducing some subtle movement into your compositions, all the way up to a ray-gun reminiscent, zombie slaying soundtrack (check out the Phaser Beam to hear what we mean). We can also add as many phase shifting stages as you want, dependant on enclosure size.
Chorus
When your tone is missing just a little bit of oomph, one of our favourite solutions is to thicken it up with some chorus. Sometimes those classic, lush sounds are all you need to get the job done, but adding your own unique twists can really help set your tone apart. We can add a kill dry switch for pure vibrato, a wet/dry mix knob for fine-tuning effect levels, a feedback knob to create flanger inspired sounds, an external bias control to get dirty broken chorus sounds, a secondary rate knob for quasi random wave shapes… honestly, the only limitations are your imagination and physics.
Tremolo
Amplitude modulation at it’s finest. Do you prefer slow, warm, vintage tube-like tremolo? How about fast, sharp, helicopter trem? Take it in either direction with one of our custom tremolo builds. Step things up a notch from there by trying out smooth, sweet harmonic tremolo guaranteed to give you goosebumps. Fuzz-trem? Whatever it is, we can build it for you!
Univibe & Leslie
At its core, a Univibe is no different from a Phaser and we offer all of the same customization options. What sets Univibe apart from a Phaser is the method of phasing. A true Univibe pedal uses a light bulb and light dependent resistors to control the phasing, causing a slightly offset waveform that “throbs”.
A Leslie effect is quite complicated and rather difficult to accurately reproduce. However, it is worth a note that very similar sounds can be achieved by using a chorus pedal. Check out the Wave to hear how a chorus can mimic a Leslie.
